Mapping Your Future

EJP's Illinois reentry guide has a wealth of information on preparing for reentry, steps to take following release, and directories of resources across the state.

Reentry Zines: Call for Creative Content

EJP needs your help to create Reentry Zines (short booklets) for people in prison who are preparing for release. We are inviting YOU to submit writing or artwork!

EJP’s Reentry Resources

EJP publishes reentry guides, produces resources, and hosts community events. We provide academic scholarships to individuals impacted by incarceration in the US and Mexico.

EJP connects people impacted by incarceration with the resources they need for a healthy transition to life after prison. We provide tools for self empowerment, including resources related to housing, employment, education, and advocacy. We recognize that incarceration causes trauma and believe that addressing that harm benefits not only the individual but the broader community as well.
